An Act of Contrition
O my God,
I am heartily sorry for
having offended Thee,
and I detest all my sins,
because I dread the loss of heaven,
and the pains of hell;
but most of all because
they offend Thee, my God,
Who are all good and
deserving of all my love.
I firmly resolve,
with the help of Thy grace,
to confess my sins,
to do penance,
and to amend my life.

Marriage Annulment Process

The Catholic Church believes that marriage is an indissoluble, sacramental bond when contracted by two baptized persons who are free and capable of consenting to this union. Marriage is a covenant by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life and love directed toward the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of children. The Church also respects a natural bond of marriage whenever one or both of the persons who marries is unbaptized.

While God does not desire any marriage to end in divorce, the Church recognizes the reality of failed marriages as a consequence of human weakness and sinfulness. The annulment process is a resource to assist people who are divorced and would like to be free to marry in the Church and continue to receive the Eucharist.

Father Steve, Father Chris, and Deacon Mike are happy to meet with anyone who would like to pursue the possibility of an annulment. Please feel free to contact any one of them through the parish office at 858-483-3030.
