Called to Serve
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion - Assist the Priest-Celebrant with the distribution of both the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass. Additionally, some are prepared to take communion to members of the parish who are homebound.
Lectors - Assist with the Eucharistic Celebration by reading from the Lectionary the readings during the Liturgy of the Word, and lead the prayers of the faithful.
Ushers - Assist the worshipping community by greeting and assisting members to their seats. Coordinating the Offertory collection and procession, and guiding people during communion procession.
Greeters - Create a spirit of welcome and hospitality by arriving early and welcoming parishioners and visitors at one of the church entrances before Mass.
Music Ministers - Aiding the congregation in worship during the Eucharistic Celebration by leading the congregation in song.
Altar Servers - Assist the Priest-Celebrant during the mass.
The Assembly - Each time Catholics gather for Mass, we give witness to the gift of faith through our full, active, and conscious participation.
