Laudato Si Action Platform
Saint Brigid Parish recently enrolled in the diocesan Laudato Si' Action Platform (LSAP). The LSAP is a way for the parish to step into a commitment to bring about positive change and awareness to the climate crisis. It is not a siloed effort, but meant to be a broad undertaking in everything we do at the parish, a 'shared journey to sustainability in the holistic spirit of integral ecology.
Movie - The Letter
In Laudate Deum, Pope Francis calls "all people of good will" to take action on the climate crisis. The Letter movie is an effort to demystify and depoliticize the reality of climate change. Explore various activities and events during this year's season of creation that focus the four 'voices' in The Letter.

“Education in environmental responsibility can encourage ways of acting which directly and significantly affect the world around us, such as avoiding the use of plastic and paper, reducing water consumption, separating refuse, cooking only what can be reasonably consumed, showing care for other living beings, using public transport or carpooling, planting trees, turning off unnecessary lights, or any number of other practices.” – Pope Francis, Laudato Si
