Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

about what to expect when attending Mass
  • What time is Mass?

Mass times are Saturdays at 5:30 pm and Sundays at 7:30, 9, and 11 am, and 5:30 pm. Daily Mass is at 7:30 am.

  • When is confession?

Saturdays 4- 5 pm or by appointment

  • What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable. After all, we are thrilled that you're joining us and want you to be more focused on the Mass than what you're wearing. In the summertime, it's not uncommon to see people wearing sandals, shorts, and a shirt. Others prefer to still put on their "Sunday best," and that's fine too!

  • Am I expected to put money in the offering?

If you are visiting with us, we don't expect you to put money into the offering, and you are welcome to just let it pass you by. if you consider our parish your church home, we'd love for you to prayerfully consider giving to our parish on a weekly basis. You can give by check or cash during the service, or you can sign up for online giving here.

  • Where do my children go?

We always welcome children to stay with you during Mass, however, there is space in the Bride's Room (located in the southwest corner of the Church past the bathrooms). Also at the 9 am Sunday Mass we have several options for children.

  • I'm not Catholic, how do I know when to sit, stand, and kneel?

There's no need to be self-conscious about the postures and responses during Mass. Most visitors follow the lead of our parishioners. However, in The Way (our bulletin), which you can find at all the Church entrances, is a 2-page section called The Mass  which will guide you, whether you are new to our community, our Faith, or want to participate more fully.

  • I have a hearing problem; is there special assistance?

Our worshhip area has a hearing loop installed for those of you who wear a hearing aid or those who have trouble hearing every word. If you are wearing a hearing aid, please set it tot he T-Coil setting. If you do not wear a hearing aid and would like to listen in the loop, listening devices are available. Please ask an usher for assistance.
